About us

At Red Sky Landscapes we have a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years of quality craftsmanship and a love of working outdoors. We understand the need to be realistic about spending to achieve your overall vision, and we can knowledgeably discuss any budget for your landscape or outdoor space project.

Even though we are happy to undertake works to Designers’ scale drawings, we also have the capacity to translate your own ideas into a design, even if it started on the back of an old envelope!

We specialise in enabling you to achieve the perfect design to compliment your lifestyle.

We produce bespoke features and furniture and offer unique sculptures and garden lighting schemes to enhance any design, along with a practical approach to irrigation and security, making us the best choice for all your landscape requirements.

Based in Grantham, Lincolnshire with easy access to all major road networks means that we can provide our landscaping services nationally.

Our Director, Richard Penfold, has over a total of 21 years experience in landscaping, started his career at Brooksby Melton College and Writtle College. He had the privilege of working under Geoff Hamilton and the team at Barnsdale Gardens, where he progressed to Head Gardener. A very hands on approach and a keen eye for detail, as well as being a specialist in irrigation design and implementation.

Richard has received recognition and accolades from other professional bodies and offers talks and workshops on Landscape construction and lighting, and has also worked with many other leading designers and architects including David Stevens, Sir Terrance Conran, Bunny Guiness, John Brookes, Robin Templar Williams, Dan Pearson and Diarmuid Gavin.
